Zooballo Christmas

I believe this card was also done for the Zooballoo cartridge challenge. I just love the penguins on this cartridge. The white background was embossed with snowflakes with my Cuttlebug, and the snowflakes at the top are a Cuttlebug die. This is a shaped tag card, which opens to read the sentiment.

Zooballoo Baby gift card holder

I made this baby card for a Cricut cartridge challenge on the Cricut MB earlier this year. I really love the little elephant on the Zooballoo cartridge. The grass and sentiment, as well as the tag are all from Zooballoo.

The patterned paper is from DCWV Animal Crackers stack.

The second photo shows the back which has a couple places to slip in a gift card or cash. Cash?? Do people still use that??

Breast cancer--get well card

A call has gone out to the Cricut MB members to make cards for Monique, who has been diagnosed with breast cancer.

This is the card that I made for her. The awareness ribbon was cut from Stand & Salute, and the penguins are from Zooballoo. Sentiment stamp is from SU!, and the punch is a MS border punch. I hope the penguin sliding down the pink ribbon makes Monique smile!

Baby bear

I have had this sleepy bear stamp forever. It is Rubber Stampede--Bedtime Bear. Sooooo cute!
The card is simple enough. The white lacy strip is punched with a MS border punch--I think handkerchief lace, but I am not sure. It is a PATP (punch around the page) set, and of course, I have the corner punch, too!

Butterfly card

Another butterfly card...love them! A simple white embossed background with a white stickle embellished butterfly. The background is Cuttlebug Stylized Flowers, and the butterfly is a Cuttlebug die/embossing combo.
Super simple, but very elegant. You just can't go wrong with butterflies!

Friends

I just love Penny Black stamps. This one is from the Valentines acrylic set. I added a bit of stickles to the flower.
The white lace doily shape is from Lacy Labels, the yellow piece is embossed with the Welcome Baby Cuttlebug card combo folder. The purple strip is punched with the EK Success Swiss Cheese border punch.

Thinking of You

I was very happy with the way this card turned out, if I do say so myself. The butterfly border is a MS punch, and the large butterfly is a Cuttlebug die/embossing combo. The sentiment was stamped on black with the SU! white craft pad. I think it looks like writing on a chalkboard. The patterned papers are from DCWV Mariposa mat stack.

Cherish

I love the clean simplicity of a two-tone card. The white is embossed with the Welcome Baby Cuttlebug card combo folder. The butterfly is an SU! punch. The sentiment is also by SU!

Card with Lacy Labels lite cartridge

I had to make something with my new Lacy Labels cartridge. I never know what I am making when I start out. Either the die cuts or the paper inspire me. This time was definitely the cartridge! The two shaped cuts are from Lacy Labels. The eyelet is a MS border punch, and the center scalloped circle is and EK Success punch. I paper pierced the scalloped circle and stamped a rose (colored with Bic Marks a Lot markers).

Elephant card

I just love this little elephant from Zooballoo! He just needs to have something tucked under his trunk, and I always think of something! The leaves and vine are from Create a Critter. The patterned paper is from DCWV Safari mat stack.

Tilda--Happy Birthday

Here is Tilda again. She is just too cute sitting on top of the cuttlebug embossed pumpkin. The tree, grass, & Happy Birthday are from Zooballoo. The maple leaves are a small punch.

Daisy Mae

Since I mentioned Daisy in the last post, I thought I would share a photo of her. She was almost 2 months old when this photo was taken in April 2009. Such a cutie pie!

Tilda--missing you

I love the Tilda stamps by Magnolia. This one has an adorable puppy. At the time I made this card last year, we had a "new" beagle puppy, so I tried to color the pup similarly to our new little Daisy Mae. The tree in the background is from Pooh & Friends, and the sentiment is cut from Stamping. I also used the MS loopy punch for the green layer under the tree.

Lady scarecrow

I love the autumn season and I found this lady scarecrow stamp years ago. I added a couple eyelets and also used a bit of raffia. I made this card about a year before I bought my Cricut, and I think it turned out pretty well.
