Graduation card time...

This is not the best lighting in the world, but I think my grad card came out pretty well.  The owl is made with Stampin Up owl punch, a scalloped circle punch (the wings), and a modified 1" square punch for the mortarboard.  I used Sizzix Notepad sizzlit dies for the gold numbers.

October Card Swap

It's card swap time again!  The theme for October was "thank you" and I just couldn't resist making it a fall themed card.  The pumpkins are Sizzix sizzlit dies, and are shaded with Prisma watercolor pencils.  I think SU! currently sells one of them, but I bought them as a pair several years ago.  The background stamps are from the SU! set Autumn Days.  The sentiment is computer generated and cut out with the SU! scalloped square punch.  A bit of raffia and a little strip of autumn themed paper finish off the card.

Pumpkin Card

I love these pumpkins. They are Sizzix sizzlit dies, and I think they are my favorite pumpkins. I did some shading on them with Prisma watercolor pencils to highlight the sections. The sign is a Sizzix originals die and I added some texture to it with an embossing folder. The "thank you" was cut with decorative edge scissors. This card was made a few years ago when I only had my cuttlebug. I think it is fun to have a look at how my cards have progressed as I have learned new techniques and acquired more tools.

Winter Card

This is a very simple card. The background paper is from last year's DCWV Christmas stack. I cut strips of white cardstock, stamped the SU snowman border, and used the Martha Stewart snowflake border punch. The coloring was done with Prisma watercolor pencils.

The snowflake die cuts are pop dotted. The larger snowflake is a Sizzix sizzlit die and the smaller one is a Cuttlebug die.

Welcome Baby card

This card was made ages ago, before I bought my Cricut. The sheep is a Sizzix die--super cute. The camera flash washed the sheep out a bit. The color blocks were cut with the square Fiskars ShapeTemplates. The stamps used are from SU that is now retired. The colors are much better in person.
