Gracie in the Snow

Here is my little Gracie in the snow. The little red coat I made for her really fits her well and shows up great against the snow. This photo was taken yesterday, but overnight we had rain and a thunderstorm and most of the snow is gone. So glad we got the pics yesterday! Gracie is just over 3 months old now. She LOVES being outside and is going to be a wonderful walking buddy for me.

March Card Swap

I actually have my cards ready ahead of time! I just can't believe it! LOL This is a simple square card with a fold on the inside to slip a gift card or cash into for the mommy-to-be.
I used an EK Success border punch--the same punch throughout. Also, the layered shape was done with my Cricut Gypsy Wanderings cartridge, the baby is from Doodlecharms, and the little green wagon is from A Child's Year. The "Welcome Baby!" stamp is from Stampin Up, but I believe it is from a discontinued set. I did pop dot the baby's head to give it a little bit of dimension.

Card Swap Time!

This month's card theme was masculine birthday. It is hard for me to go totally masculine when I have such cute stamps though. The sentiment "It's Your Birthday!" was printed on the card using Microsoft Publisher. The background paper is from DCWV Latte stack. The stamp is from the Current Critter line, which may be discontinued now. The leaf and "Smile" were cut from Create a Critter. To get the look of notebook paper, I used an EK Success paper edger.

Gracie Scrapbook Page

This sweet picture of the complete litter was emailed to me by the breeder. What a wonderful addition it is to my scrapbook! Thank you, Connie! Gracie is the second one from the right.
Again, the MS snowflake border punch was used. Journaling tag was cut from the Slice Vintage Findings design card, and the word "dream" was cut from the Basics 1 design card.

Gracie Scrapbook Layout

These photos were taken on Christmas Eve. Miss Gracie is the pup that appears to be whispering in the ear of her brother, and in the lower photo is the one laying on her side with her little legs straight out.
I used the Martha Stewart PATP snowflake border punch on red paper so that it would pop against the white page base. I used the same Christmas paper from the title page, and "family" was cut from the Words & Expressions Slice design card. The journaling tag was cut from the Vintage Findings Slice design card.
I am enjoying using my new Slice, but I will also be using my Cricut for this scrapbook soon. I have so many great Cricut cuts to use for a puppy scrapbook.
